The agency that is right for you should be able to do more than develop good design. Make a careful choice, therefore, since it is only possible to find optimal design solutions in cooperation with people that you get along with.
So choose people with whom you feel happy about exchanging ideas; people who listen to you and show a sense of humour; people who know that some things are more important than corporate design; people with a purpose, who are not just out to enhance their own success.
Choose people who know what it means to develop a brand, to work with respect and to be inspired by small assignments as well. Never underestimate the communicative aspect of a design process; you may have to speak to these people on the phone several times a day.
